Detergent AND/or lint on load out of washer
Possible Cause: Improper sorting. Solution: Sort lint givers (towels, chenille) from lint takers (corduroy, synthetics). Also sort by color.
Possible Cause: Overloading. Solution: Lint can be trapped in load if overloaded. Wash smaller loads.
Possible Cause: Paper or tissue in pockets. Solution: Clean out pockets before washing.
Possible Cause: Not enough detergent. Solution: Use enough detergent to hold lint in water.
Possible Cause: Detergent not dissolving. Solution: Use wash water warmer than 70 degrees F (21 degrees C).
Possible Cause: Wash water colder than 70 degrees F (21 degrees C). Solution: Use wash water warmer than 70 degrees F (21 degrees C).
Tearing, garment damage
Possible Cause: Overloading, improper use of washer. Solution: Loads should move freely during wash. Wash smaller loads.
Possible Cause: Improper use of chlorine bleach. Solution: Do not pour chlorine bleach directly on load. Wipe up bleach spills. Undiluted bleach will damage fabrics.
